Proof of Delivery (POD)
In order to do our best to not pass on contaminants from party to party while moving from location to location, we will be changing our Proof of Delivery Process.
Effective Monday, March 16th, either upon recipient's request or our driver's concern, we will allow a Visual Proof of Delivery (VPOD) in lieu of a regular signature Proof of Delivery (POD). We will still continue to obtain the first and last name of the recipient. We are asking our customers to allow our drivers to photograph the receiving party at each delivery point. These photographs will only be used in the event of a question as to whether a delivery occurred. They will be available only when requested on a per job basis from a member of our customer service team. If the delivery recipient does not allow us to photograph them, we will then photograph the individual's company ID or business card if possible, and/or also photograph the delivered item in the office/area setting, i.e.: a desk, table, counter or the floor for inclusion into the delivery record along with the name of the recipient.
